A "botanical study" I recently completed with my good friend, Lorelei Sims, who came to the ranch from Illinois to see the famous Texas bluebonnets. While she was here, Lorelei and I forged a study of little bluestem, "an important native grass of the Texas HIllcountry". Lorelei is nationally known for her artistic skills in forging botanical subjects.
